Don Rooke, leader of The Henrys, plays lap style steel guitar, often on acoustic instruments like the Kona, Weissenborn, Dobro, Gibson squareneck and National steel; electric lap steel; acoustic and electric guitars. As well as writing music and lyrics for The Henrys, he has recorded with a host of other artists (see below, with the exception of a few recent additions, this list hasn’t been maintained for a long time ago). There’s an IMDB page with information about his soundtrack work.

He’s also a fan and practitioner of a certain kind of film photography, examples, and the arcane details of which, are posted here.
